Our foundation comes from a strong background in the health care sector. The initiatives we fund reinforce our desire to advance standards of care, and the quality of facilities and technologies in a variety of areas.

ARTISTIC ENDEAVORS

We believe in the arts as a community catalyst, instilling values and translating experiences across cultural boundaries. We believe art allows people from different cultures and times to communicate with each other via images, sounds and stories.

HUMANITARIAN SERVICES

The Crocker Catalyst foundation seeks out Humanitarian Service initiatives based upon our fundamental belief in the universal value of solidarity between people and our shared moral imperatives. We embrace local and international initiatives that create positive change.

ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

We are dedicated to environmental issues and improvements that foster a sustainable future and lead to social and economic improvements not only in our community, but around the world.

ELIGIBILITY & HOW TO APPLY

The Ann & Gary Crocker Catalyst Foundation has been established to implement the charitable endeavors of the Gary and Ann Crocker family. Our foundation has a broad spectrum of philanthropic interests and supports efforts in the fields of education, the arts, health care, and humanitarian services.

Please read the following guidelines before applying. All applicants for funding must be an IRS approved charitable 501-c3 organization. Eligibility is based on the following criteria with a preference for proposals that generate novel or incremental programs.

EDUCATION

  • promote the development of novel educational opportunity
  • create new opportunities for promising young students
  • promote education innovation and job training

HEALTH CARE INITIATIVES

  • enhance the quality of life of all humankind
  • promote medical research
  • develop innovative medical technologies for saving lives
  • alleviate pain and suffering

ARTISTIC ENDEAVORS

  • promote the development of the arts, including art education in schools
  • assist promising young artists
  • support performing arts organizations

HUMANITARIAN SERVICES

  • encourage and support the long-term preservation of families and children
  • assist the disenfranchised of society, such as abused spouses and children
  • promote community development and security and adequate and affordable housing
  • promote law and order generally
  • provide youth with alternatives to gangs, crime, and socially nonproductive behavior
  • promote world peace and unity through greater understanding and tolerance

ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

  • facilitate environmental improvements and innovation
  • generate opportunities for environmental community service
  • steward environmental mentoring programs
  • support strong partnerships with community organizations

TECHNOLOGY AND RESEARCH

  • encourage opportunities to advance ground breaking research
  • drive initiatives that help make technology more accessible
  • commit to the development of research and technology that improves quality of life
  • partner with community and/or business leaders to create opportunity through research and technological advancements that improve humankind

All Crocker Catalyst Foundation applications will be reviewed and screened by the foundation’s board of directors to ensure that applications are appropriate within the foundation’s charter.
